Frequently Asked Questions

If you cannot find an answer to your question on our already listed FAQs, please contact us at info@csisinsinc.com. If your question is specific to commission statements, ACH, or accounting, please contact accounting@csisinsinc.com.

Markets we partner with include:

  • Aegis General Insurance Company - Specialty Division
  • Aspire General Insurance
  • Bamboo Insurance Services
  • Delos Insurance
  • Heritage Insurance Services
  • Light Speed Specialty Insurance Solutions
  • Orion 180 Insurance
  • WOWs Fire Insurance Services

Each provider has their own criteria that determines whether you can get appointed, it is not solely our decision.

Most aggregators, networks, and wholesalers are structured to have multiple forms of earnings. These can include one or multiple of the following:

  • An initiation fee
  • A monthly fee
  • Production requirements to maintain appointment
  • Additional production bonuses for the wholesale agents
  • Commission splitting

We believe in being upfront about our model. We have a 70% / 30% commission split agreement with our producers, but no initiation free, monthly fee, production requirement by our office, and we do not earn production bonuses or contingency commissions.

All of the information that will be requested can be found on the "Get Appointed" page. That can be found here: link to page.

1. If you have previously been appointed and then terminated with some of our carriers, then you may be eligible for reappointment.

2. If you are already working with another insurance aggregator, cluster, and/or network, then you are not eligible for appointment. Some examples include:

  • FirstChoice
  • First Connect
  • ISU Steadfast
  • Keystone Insurers Group, Inc.
  • Renaissance
  • The Agency Collective LLC
  • Combined Agents of America LLC
  • Smart Choice Agents
  • Pacific Interstate Insurance Brokers
  • Insurors Group LLC

Contact us at info@csisinsinc.com if you have additional questions to these eligibility requirements.

If approved, we will request the following documents:

  1. W9 form
  2. Filled out and signed producer profile and agreement documents **The information provided on the form must match what is provided on your W9**
  3. A copy of your E&O Dec Page or a COI
  4. A copy of your individual license
  5. A copy of the entity license
  6. *Optional* Completed ACH form if you would like to receive payments electronically (the file can be found at the bottom of the page: jump to downloads)

We reserve the right to withhold commission when missing any of these required documents, specifically, expired E&O insurance. It is your responsibility to give us your updated E&O when expired.

If you are approved, the next steps will vary depending on the carrier(s) you have access to.

  1. Aegis: CSIS will email you a link for onboarding. Please let us know when completed, otherwise Aegis will decline the application.
  2. Bamboo: CSIS will email you the Bamboo Insurance Mutual Producer Agreement & Agency Onboarding form that need to be signed and completed.
  3. Delos: CSIS will email you a link to onboard directly to Delos Insurance Solutions as a CSIS agency.
  4. Light Speed: CSIS will email you a form and excel spreadsheet that need to be completed. The excel spreadsheet must be returned in an .xcl format when returned to us.
  5. Heritage: CSIS will send you an email with instructions on completing producer appointment direct with Heritage. We must be alerted by them with their approval to then move forward.

Once the onboarding process is complete, you will be going to the carrier's website to do everything (underwriting, binding, etc.). The only thing that is done with us is commission accounting. Please do not contact us about underwriting.

Commissions are paid by the 15th of the following month.

We pay out commissions as we receive them from the carrier. For example, payouts for June are made for commissions provided to us by the carrier if they get to us by the 15th of the following month (July). This also applies to payments being made for a policy in installments. If the insured pays quarterly, then most of our carriers pay us based on the installment premium, which we then payout. Carrier(s) that pay out an advance on the premium then gets paid out to you in an advance.

*Exception* Some carriers pay out after the 15th of the following month, so those are paid out in the next cycle. For example, May commissions get paid out in July.

*Disclaimer* Circumstances outside of our control may lead to a slight delay in payment.

  • As of July 1st, 2026, our new commission processor is Core Commissions. Access your online commission portal here or linked at the top of the page.
  • If you were a producer before July 1st, 2026, you can access your commission statements from when you were appointed through June 2026 from Racing Snail / Mivation until September 1st, 2026. After this, access to previous commission statements before calendar year 2026 cannot be accessed online. Please be sure to download all previous commission statements for your records. We will no longer be able to provide them for you.
  • One person is assigned access to the commission statements. By default, the person assigned is the agency Principal or Owner (or person who signed the appointment contract if not the Principal/Owner). This access is assigned via email.
  • Access can be transferred or delegated to someone else with written request from agency Principal / Owner, who then loses access.

No, please do not email us requesting commission statements. These requests will be answered by directing you here to login to the online commission portal to access all your statements and data.

If you believe you have encountered an issue with your commission statements or payout, please follow the steps below:

  1. Do your research to investigate the issue internally first. Can it be solved by contacting my agency principal? Have I reviewed the FAQ page? Etc.
  2. Send an email to accounting@csisinsinc.com with documentation of where the issue lies (e.g., if there is a policy unaccounted for in the statement that you have an official Dec page for and a copy of the statement it would belong in and the month after). All claims that a commission error has occurred requires copy of commission statements and Dec pages of the referenced errors. We will not be able to service your request until it is provided so that we have all of the information to work with.
  3. Give us time to further investigate the issue and determine the source. We will respond within 3-5 business days and let you know if any further information is required.

Thank you for your understanding.

If you sold your agency and want to release information to them, we need a letter from who we originally contracted with giving written approval to release the information and the relevant information of the new entity (W9, individual and entity licenses, E&O insurance, and contact information). See document below.
